The Session: This performance challenge program is built for samba dancers at an experienced-beginner or intermediate level. In this program, dancers will strengthen their fundamental skills, build their samba movement vocabulary, and improve their samba speed and freestyle abilities. Participants will exhibit their Samba no Pe and performance skills in a new piece of choreography in a stunning costume that will both challenge them and enhance their samba training by putting it all on display for a Spring Recital performance in a gorgeous professional theatre for their friends and family to attend on Saturday, May 9th.

Students may also get other opportunities to perform at various festivals and Latin-American, Caribbean, and African cultural events throughout July and August (TBD). While attendance for all performances is not required, it is always encouraged to take all performance opportunities!
